-THE WRAP UP- What a month December was! I started off with a bang with my sister’s baby shower in Baltimore and then going to see Motown the Musical at the National Theater the first weekend of the month.  It’s always great to get to see family outside of a holiday. Then, ICELAND! One of my rare non-soccer related trips, I had a great time in Iceland swimming in the Blue Lagoon, chasing the Northern Lights, wandering around Reykjavik, and touring the Golden Circle. I had a bunch of brunches and dinners out with friends, and even went to see… View Post

-THE WRAP UP- November was a busy month even though it felt like I didn’t have a lot going on. But then I reviewed my calendar to write this post and holy crap it looked like a unicorn vomited on my GCal (it’s color coded in obnoxiously bright colors). After two DC United matches the first week of the month, I attended the soft opening of Pennsylvania 6, thanks to being a friend of a friend of the owner #humblebrag. It’s a really great space, with a small but extremely well curated drinks list, and I can see it becoming… View Post

-THE WRAP UP- This week was blissfully low-key. With the exception of the Nats game on Wednesday, I spent my week reading this month’s book club book and this week’s New York Times (it always takes me forever to just get through the Magazine, culture, and business sections), and watching TV when I wasn’t at work. I did a little work on my finances, but otherwise I was totally lazy and it was glorious. I also spent a stupid amount of time trying to get used to my new iPad keyboard. It’s insanely small, and I had so many typos… View Post

-THE WRAP UP- I woke up early Sunday to go see Furious 7, which I enjoyed. It wasn’t the best installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, but it wasn’t the worst either.  Of course, I spent the entire film pissed off. I also went grocery shopping and did A LOT of work on the blog, both creating posts, and the design (notice the new web address, and the fact the blog has a new header, but otherwise looks the same?). Then it was time for GAME OF THROOOOOOOOOOOOOONES. As always, I had to rewatch the episode on Monday to… View Post

-The Wrap Up- Sunday was a pretty lazy day (I slept in until 10:15!), with a brief burst of activity when I went to the grocery store and then prepped my meals for the week. Other than that, I did a bit of blog work and watched some stand-up on Netflix. Monday, I booked flights for my trip to Boston this summer (holla to US Air for stupid cheap fares), and all that’s left to book is that pesky flight home from Toronto in June (my flight to Toronto has already been booked). I had jury duty on Wednesday, and while most people… View Post
