Hello Lovelies! It’s officially February now, which means I can now say “I am going to England and Scotland this month!” Our itinerary is shaping up quite nicely, but I wanted to put the call out for suggestions for things to do and see in England and Scotland. I lived in Liverpool for a year, and have been to London numerous times, but York and Glasgow will be new adventures for me! Plus, no matter how many times you’ve visited a place, you still haven’t seen everything to be seen, and eaten everywhere there is to eat (I joke that… View Post

As some of you may know, when one lives in a city inundated with tourists year-round, the last thing one wants to do is go check out the touristy things.  As a matter of fact, I only go do touristy things when I’m basically forced to do so by my friends who are visiting from other cities. The Washington Capitals are currently one of the hottest tickets in town. We have several of the best players in the world on our team, and are third overall in the League. I love hockey, so when a coworker sweetly offered me her pair of tickets while she was out of town for Thanksgiving, I jumped at the chance to catch a game live. My friend, Jen, was free to go with me, so we had a Dinner and Hockey Date on Thanksgiving Eve. The Verizon Center (henceforth known as The Phone Booth) is located in the Chinatown neighborhood. September 29th, 2015, started out like any other day.  I woke up, fed my asshole cats, got dressed for work, packed my lunch, and caught the bus to my office. I usually check Twitter, Facebook, Feedly, and Instagram on my 20 minute commute. So there I am, scrolling through Twitter, still sleepy, when I see this:  WUT. I love Kendrick Lamar. LOVE. HIM. To Pimp a Butterfly is definitely in my Top 3 albums of 2015 (and will likely stay there even with the release of new Ellie Goulding and Adele albums this month) and you can frequently find me… View Post
